The Sproul Family: Tuesday July 26th at Topsail

First thing the kids saw when they woke up was the crab that Rodney caught from the night before. They were all cautiously checking it out.
Also, woke up to Copper having a fever...I forgot to mention that she had one the night before. Desiree' and I ended up taking her to an insta care place out in the middle of no man's land. This place was crazy! The rooms were filthy, they didn't seem to know what they were doing and we waited forever just to finally get a Dr to look at the baby for 2 seconds and then say that Copper must have an ear infection and then she left to write up a prescription which took FOREVER for her to get to us. Ridiculous! Anyways, upon further inspection which we would find out the next day was that Copper was teething. She had a tooth pop through within the next 24hrs.
After all that madness we got back to the house and put Copper down for a nap, then the whole gang, minus Charisse and Copper, jumped in their cars to go to the turtle hospital on the island. Sounded like a good idea, until we got there had saw the gargantuan line outside of the building. No me gusta.
We then decided to go to a nearby ice cream shop and game place. Turns out the ice cream was really expensive and we thought it would be more cost efficient to pick up a couple gallons of ice cream at the store. So with another plan gone bad we went to the nearby beach to have a looksie.
Rodney, Bentley, Paisley and I didn't stay too long...we had to get back to make sure to get Copper from her nap, those who stayed got soaking wet from playing in the waves. Looks like they had lots of fun.
Des and Chuck were assigned Tuesday nights dinner and they ended up cooking hamburgers, hot dogs, and kabobs. Yum! Rodney grilled up his crab and seemed to enjoy eating it.
After dinner we put the kids to bed and then played games and then watched the movie "Dan in Real Life". I love that movie!
