Copper had her Valentine party on Thursday the 12th a day before her big sisters so I finished her dolls first. Here are her cute valentines:

Valentine's Day Saturday the 14th
The morning of Valentine's Day the girls woke up pretty early. Rodney went downstairs and ended up making me breakfast in bed with his little helper Paisley.
The girls delivering my breakfast. I am so blessed!
After Aven woke up I let the kids come in and see their presents from us. We gave each of the kids a pair of slippers, a valentine's day book and a marshmallow sucker. If you look closely you can see Rodney's present from me in the top right corner. I gave him the book "Food A Love Story, by Jim Gaffigan". Inside the book are two tickets for this upcoming weekend. Jim Gaffigan is coming into town and we are going to be there to see him! Rodney and the kids were really excited about their gifts.
Rodney's mom was so awesome and came over to babysit our kids around 11am so we could go out for lunch and a movie. Thanks so much, Jayne! We really had a great relaxed time. We went over to The Cheesecake Factory for the first time since they opened here in Lexington. We were there about 20 minutes after they opened and had an hour wait time. It was cool though because they took our cell phone number and we were allowed to go shopping in the mall until they texted us. We went over to H&M and picked up a few things.
Once we got back to the restaurant I was starving and their menu was HUGE! For an appetizer we ended up ordering a spinach and crab dip. Yum! My apologies for the not so great quality of pictures.
I ordered the bang bang chicken and shrimp. The waitress asked if I had ever had it and she mentioned that it was nothing like bonefish bang bang shrimp. It was still awesome! It reminded me a lot of the at chicken Korma at Masala. Rodney got me the necklace I am wearing in the picture below. LOVE IT!
Rodney ordered the southwestern fried catfish.
For dessert Rodney ordered the S'mores cheesecake and I ordered the Adams one. They were both so good and so sugary! I was really wishing I had milk. We ended up having about half of each piece left over and ordered the apple streusel cheesecake to take home with us.
After eating we went over to the movie theater at the Fayette Mall. The movie that we had planned on seeing (Jupiter Ascending) had already started so we decided to go see 'Black or White' instead. It was just okay, I thought it was a total snooze fest. I did in fact fall asleep at one point. It wasn't awful but wasn't great either.
I realized when we got home that we hadn't gotten any pictures with just the two of us so here are some classy shots taken from our garage;)
As a whole, we had such a wonderful day filled with good food and family. Happy Valentine's Day!!!
